About C&R Technologies
CRTech was founded in 1992 to commercialize the NASA standard thermal/fluids package, SINDA/FLUINT and its first Graphical User Interface, the ancestor of the current Sinaps (which is the subject of today's presentation). Since that time, CRTech has grown to serve over 4000 users in over 30 countries, with CAD and FEM products that are the standard for NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing, and that are the basis of GM's E-Thermal design software. CRTech software is also re-sold by PTC as part of their Pro/Engineer (now Creo/Pro) CAD package.


About Sinaps and SINDA/FLUINT
SINDA/FLUINT is a comprehensive finite-difference, lumped parameter (circuit or network analogy) tool for heat transfer design analysis and fluid flow analysis in complex systems. It is used at over 500 sites in the aerospace, electronics, petrochemical, biomedical, and automotive industries, and in over 30 countries.

Sinaps® is a graphical user interface for developing SINDA/FLUINT models and for viewing and reporting the results. Sinaps® provides a 2D sketch environment for thermal and flow modeling analysis allowing abstraction and simplification of complex systems. systems.


About the Presenter
Brent Cullimore is a co-founder of CRtech. He has 30 years of experience in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer as applied to a wide variety of systems and industries. He spent the first 10 years in the aerospace industry as head of software and hardware R&D for the Thermophysics group. He is the primary author of the fluid analysis, optimization, and statistical design packages within CRTech's software suite, and also participates in engineering consulting and training.
