The new technology enables modeling of crash data and the capability to include nonlinear material properties in a dynamic database. HyperCrash/CATIA is part of the HyperWorks suite of advanced CAE solutions and provides a seamless interface for CATIA users. However, separate usage licensing is required. Previously, engineers were required to leave CATIA to perform time-intensive critical crash analysis. Now, they can perform the complete task inside the CATIA environment and move directly into the RADIOSS solver.
